Musicianship3Stir A Passion Song Tutorial

STIR A PASSION SONG PAGE

Stir A Passion, the new track from Worship Central, is one of those songs that gets under your skin from the moment you forst hear it. And when you first lead it in church? Wow! The song actually started life as part of the Kingdom Come nights run by Worship Central, in their home church, St. Luke's, Gas Street. On these nights the church gathers with no agenda, they just wait on God, offering spontaneous worship. The chorus for Stir A Passion came ot Josh Gauton on one of these nights, with the verse and bridge being grafted in later. As such the song retains the integrity, and simplicity of when it was first concieved.

We caught up with Josh, and the Worship Central, and asked him to take us thorugh the song, giving us tips to help learn and lead the song.

We got the chance to get a bit more of an insight into the heart behind the song too, with Josh, Nick Herbert, and Anna Hellebronth
