Kerosene started out as a fun pop song about Jesus and has turned into way more. I'm so glad it turned into what it did. The song is bringing people hope, and joy, and many are hearing about Jesus without even KNOWING that's what this song is about. That's where my heart is. That's how I want to change the world.

The lyrics boldly express how I love God. I'm clearly not afraid to say how I feel, and I think that's key in the world in which we live. We can't change anything if we're not different. I think by being different, and by speaking my mind, I can help people realize that you don't have to be cookie cutter for God to love you. Everybody's different. NOBODY is perfect. And Jesus loves all of us the same. No one is better than the other. 

So I say, be bold, be yourself, and love Jesus with all of your heart. If you're not afraid to say you love Him, and you're not afraid to be yourself, you'll change hearts and minds. You can change the world.

We are the kerosene.  Our love for Jesus, our hearts are Kerosene.  Jesus is the match. Spread the kerosene! Tell everybody how you love Jesus.
